Kick Starter Tea

(Serves 2)

There are mornings when everything feels a little slow and sluggish, but this tea will help bring you to life. It combines the zing of cayenne pepper, the anti inflammatory response of ginger and turmeric, and the alkalising effect of lemon.

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp Grated Ginger
  • ½ tbsp Grated Fresh Turmeric
  • ½ Lemon, Juiced
  • Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 cups Filtered Water

Method

  1. Place all ingredients (except lemon juice) in a small saucepan. Simmer on low heat with the lid on for 5 minutes.
  2. Add lemon juice, strain and serve.
